The Black Dahlia Murder – Nightbringers
Additional mention: The entire Nightbringers album

I'm way more familiar with Black Dahlia Murder's ‘Nocturnal’ album (10/10 btw.), but Nightbringers (the song) was always one of my favourite TBDM songs. But in a move very familiar to me, called “Liking a song/band very much but never listening to more of the album/discography”, I never listened to the rest of the Nightbringers album. I thought I did once but didn't like it very much, but my last.fm stats disagree.

Anyway, I took the time to listen to the whole of Nightbringers (album) today and I liked it a lot! Nightbringers (song) sounds like it could've just as well been released on Nocturnal, but some of the other songs sounded a bit different than what I expected TBDM songs to sound like. Don't get me wrong, they sounded good, they just changed the range of what I thought TBDM songs could sound like.
