Honorable mention: The entire album version of ‘Terminal Spirit Disease’

This is one of those days where it's really hard to pick a single song to be the titular “Track of the Day”. Every single track on Terminal Spirit Disease is just that good. Even the live performances are never getting skipped by me.

Originally, the band only wanted to make an EP, but their label wanted them to make a full-length album. So the just padded the runtime with three live performances of songs from their first two albums.

The title-track is by far my most played of them all (twice as many listens than second place), but I think I'll go with ‘Forever Blind’ for today. But they're all just so good. And since it's only 22 minutes long (without the live performances), just go ahead and listen to the entire thing.

Terminal Spirit Disease is at rank 4 of the top 100 list I made in early 2025, but there's one album by At the Gates on the list that's even higher up.
